August Moon Bling

The ‘Woman’ mentioned here is none other than the Irish Goddess, The Morrigan.

Can you feel a change in the air?  It seems that there is a different vibe going on now. The coming of the Harvest season brings hope. Maybe it is the possibility of a new beginning. Or simply a fighting chance for a different future. Whatever it is, it feels palpably different than a few weeks back. 
 
As I was thinking about what to do for the community ‘Forge Bling’ this month, this quote came to me. And the more I marinated on it, the better it felt. So, in honor of my Goddess, I am using the old Irish for ‘indeed’, which is écin. (h/t to my crow sibling Mara for helping with the research) . It is used for - of truth, certain, an emphasis, surely. And I feel it fits in nicely now. "I have power indeed,"

This month's Working will be different. It’ll be a copper bracelet. I will shine it up all spiffy and bright, like a new penny. I enjoy working with copper. For me copper speaks to healing. There is an elegance to it, Majestic like. There is a type of gentle wisdom with it. It has an ancient feel to me. It is also a fantastic conductor of energy, a flow if you will.
