During the weekend, you will have the amazing opportunity to work with copper and steel. No experience necessary - we'll guide you through every step of the process.

 

But it's not just about technique - we'll also explore the spiritual side of metal working, using ritual and ceremony to enhance our relationship with the metal we're working with. Get ready to 𝐅.𝐋.𝐎.𝐖. with your metal as you learn these treasured steps to co-create your work. We'll be using a wood-fired, primitive stand-up drum forge to teach you the basic skills of heating, shaping, and bending metal. By the end of the weekend, you'll have not only learned these wonderful techniques but also created cherished legacy tools that you can use for a lifetime.

This weekend is limited to 6 people. The cost for this 3-day workshop is on a sliding scale of $275 - $325.00. While we can’t charge for meals, you are welcome to share our breakfasts and suppers; donations are VERY gratefully accepted. Or feel free to bring your own meals. Tent camping on our land Friday and Saturday is included to fully immerse yourself in the experience. You will even be able to try night forging!
