Here it is working on mid-October. A few days ago I came across the #31DaysMorrigan on Instagram started by liminalraven (Post). They are also a contributor to the Girl God book, Warrior Queen: Answering the Call of The Morrigan. I really like the idea of it. Something to focus on each day, a nice selection. This morning as I sat doing my morning meditation, I received a ‘polite suggestion’. "YES. More". Well, being the ‘yes ma’am’ kinda guy I am, I drew on the inspiration before me. I've selected a mixture of phrases, titles, and stories referencing the Morrigan. Each day has a clickable link directly to the lore or supporting article (see pdf below). My thought is that it will give a little something to ponder. Carrying the energy of Samhain forward, this will start on November 1 and go through the month. I think this will be fun. My hope is that we learn something. None of us is as smart as all of us. If you'd like to join the fun, look up the link for each day. Then simply write what it means to you, what you think and/or how it makes you feel. Add #MorriganDevotion to the end of each post. (You don't have to be a devotee of the Morrigan to play along.) I will be doing mine on Instagram. Please feel free to share yours anywhere. Let’s learn from one another! (h/t to my feather sister Mara for help with the research and my Beloved for help with the layout)
If you learned something, like it and please share! Please don’t keep me a secret! I depend on you to help spread the word, so to speak. After all, how many people do you know that can say they have their very own personal magical blacksmith?? Get your free membership to the website here. Give it a like and comment below.
This is a downloadable pdf version with clickable links to sited lore
*Day 13 is from Morgan Daimler’s "Cath Maige Tuired: A Full English Translation". This is a fantastic book/translation. A must for your collection, imo.
Do me a favor: Before you go, if you liked this post, then please scroll on to the bottom click on that little heart below.
