Monday Thoughts

I figured I would take a few minutes to share what’s happening and some of my thoughts and ideas moving forward on how I can best serve my community. Please keep in mind as you read this, English is not my first language. Appalachian is. I kinda write like I think.

First, I must say, I never expected that there would be so much involved in setting up a website! All the choices and decisions that needed to be made. Then there is what seems to be the on-going ‘improvements’. Whew!! And as I sit here on this Monday morning, I still do not have the first item for sale listed. I’ll remedy that shortly.

So, some nifty things that will be happening soon, after the April weekend workshops. One will be a members only content. As of now I only have one type of member: free. My thought to this is that these are the people who like what I am doing and support me, so I figured I would offer them something special. Most of this content will likely be in the form of videos. Short ones. There is a lot I do, that never makes it to the FaceBook live forging. My Beloved informed me this was a vlog. Who knew?? I’ve also thought about adding some paid levels of memberships. Sort of like a Pateron type thing.

I am in the process of developing an ‘at home’ metal magic class. I was thinking of doing something like a copper bracelet/cuff that everyone could do at home with items that I would think most living places have. We would discuss sigil making and application. I think it will be a blast to do.

Well, that’s what’s been happening round here. Do you have any suggestions about this?

(By the way, to become a member, simply click ‘log in’ at the top of the page) And as always, please don’t keep me a secret. I depend on you to help spread the word so to speak. After all, how many people do you know of that can say they have their very own personal blacksmith??
